Another Yosemite Falls video

Because of a timely request, I've found another video from that amazing spring day in Yosemite Valley. I found a spot where few tourists go and got a different angle than most people see of Lower Yosemite Falls. The rest of the world melts away, with all your senses on "natural overload".

I love your use of visuals, but am curious what other senses are stimulated? The videos add a wonderful auditory element, but what smells surround you? What other sounds do you notice during your photography jaunts? Can you feel the spray of water on your face/hands/body?

I enjoy checking in on your site from time to time. Thanks for sharing our country, our Earth, with all of us! ~wndrwomn71

Thanks for visiting, WW. To get to that point where I took this video, I had to climb through the blowing mist generated by the falling water. Often people will get up close to the falls opposite of where I was but, not many climb up and across the trailess area I went through.

There ARE some great smells in Yosemite, as I always like to pick a bay laurel leaf and sniff its strong but pleasant smell. On another trip to Yosemite, we hiked up the trail that goes to the top of both Lower and Upper Yosemite Falls. About every 15 minutes, we'd hear ice and rock falling above us as the freezing and thawing loosens chunks of rock on the cliff walls. VERY spooky, to say the least.

I look forward to seeing you in chat one of these days. Thanks for the kind words!
